It's that time of year....for peonies!! My favorite flower and I wish I would have planted my whole property in these beauties years ago. The bushes that I do have, one of which came from my Grandma's house when she died, did really good this year with lots of blooms. Since it is Oregon and we do get a lot of hard rains I had to cut most of them because of the weight and bring them inside....which I don't mind because they smell heavenly:-)
My newest enamelware purchase is perfect to display a few white ones in. It has a hook to hand with a spout on the bottom. I just put the flowers in a glass jar and placed it inside. I needed something new to hang on these shutters in my dining room and can replace the flowers as new ones bloom in my garden this Summer. Enjoy! xoxo K.
These started out pale pink and ended up more white when opened all the way. I have many more pink ones that I will be sharing with you later this week:-)
Here is a larger view showing my feeder filled with wild white roses on my dining room table. This room smells so wonderful when you walk in with both the peonies and roses.
